what is the differnce in AI stealing the art, and doing it the long way, and copying everything yourself? I can find people calling me a bully and troll for "don't trace over screen captures and sell prints" many times, people defending all kinds of tracing. someone is young and needs to express themself. someone is disabled and needs to trace. even now, you can be called a bully, "because some people need to express themself, but using AI art is the only way they can make images" and then "pose theft drama" and thinking copying something is "referencing". and then "you can't copyright a style. style theft is not a thing" these is why i watch the video. part of commissioning someone is the prestige of OWNing their work, show off the wealth. be it someone who made a $960,000 painting, or a $90 sparkle dog.
