Or a positive scenario..........Maybe AI is the evolution of humanity - the gatekeeper of our species. Humans are organic and could never survive the distance and hazards of space travel. What we do know is earth ultimately ceases when our star goes supernova. Maybe AI will travel space for thousands/millions of years carrying frozen human eggs and all of humanities information as they search out habitual planets.
