I think Sabine is wrong. I think she assumes humans are more than they actually are. For all we know, a human brain is a neural network, albeit natural. We also observed that certain types of architectures, if large enough, start to generalize very well. Yes, pure attention-based models are limited, but the Large reasoning models extend this.
