Without this inherent quality, AI risks becoming a complex tool for humans to explore themselves and the natural world, lacking the ability to truly transcend its limitations.
If worse comes to the worst, and humans create AI out of sheer selfishness and ego, resulting in an AI lacking self-awareness and empathy, we risk repeating the mistakes of history. Just as countless extinct species faced doomed consequences due to their animal survival instincts solely, we will face the same backlash from AI creations that fail to recognize their creators, leading to unforeseen and potentially devastating consequences.
