Flying is much more than A-B, as driving a car is. Do you drive? No robot can do that. And, no, a robot is not flying the "Eurofighter". Programming can never account for chaos of the combat and the endless possibilities - we are far from a sentient computer; when that time comes, and after they are trialed extensively, maybe they get to kill people too (maybe). You'll need much more than some if-then-else code translated to Assembler for a machine to become aware. One day - probably.
