there is no democratization of knowledge with AI that didn't exist previously. In fact, AI made it worse because whatever it presents lacks context: algorithms will make up falsehoods that it thinks you want to hear and the owners of AI systems can tweak the algorithms to censor certain things or push certain ideas but without context you cannot look up for yourself if that is true or false, good or bad. It is the perfect tool for techno fascism.
