All I hear in this whole thing is a bunch of idealists (we are creating an AI to benefit humanity) getting face slapped with reality (well gee we need product to see to make money to keep developing AI so either we get things out the door or no AI is built). The idealists are morons who think their is an endless pile of money for them to play with and do what they want. The people with the money see reality, and understand such thinking NEVER works long term. And even then the idealists are morons as they think they can CONTROL something like an AI. They honestly want to create the ultimate slave, there to do the bidding of man . And reality teaches us that such ambitions also never pan out and never work. I will even argue if they tried to create something equal to humans to share in advancements, again they would never work as equality is an illusion that also never occurs, never works out. Humans are not equal to each other, some are smarter, stronger, faster, more cunning. Equality of is the dream of idiots who can't live in reality. And hence they all get pushed out and leave as reality steps in and they can't stand it.
