Honestly I think your earlier points extend further in the video. Maybe AI is just creeping in and colonizing all the spaces we already drained the humanity from. The social and economic systems we live in no longer give the majority of humans space, time, or money to be human. We're treated as commodities, automatons -the way horses in video games are so often simply motorcycles with legs- from the moment we enter preschool. The human existence is converted to monetary value. For years it feels like the humanity and learning has been drained from school. The assignment already required a machine-like mindless labor, why not just let a machine do it? In a world where your existence is measured in value provided to shareholder give me one good reason not to cheat? Where was the humanity to begin with? The creator of angel engine didn't only give up to social pressure to stop using AI, they also probably made enough money using the AI to be able to pay an artist. The humanity could not have existed without the AI helping the artist cheat the system.
