it's true this stuff is very dangerous, and all the risks bengio mentions are true. however, if a guy who built the thing is not getting attention, while everyone else implementing his ideas with loads of cash are becoming rockstars of ai, the guy will probably get jealous and use any method of gaining his own fame and adulation, such as fear.
