I will never ever ever understand people saying that AI has a "lower cost of entry". "It's just to make making art easier". No. You just can't draw or paint, but you wanted to make art so you took the easy way. Listen. I can't draw. I can't paint. I accepted that a long time ago... but I'm still an artist. Know how? I found my medium. What medium? Cross stitch. I love to make cross stitches, but I also have a software for designing patterns and I often use that to make pixel art. I love making pixel art. On top of that I also can crochet and sew. I might not make my own patterns in these mediums yet. But I learned. These are ALSO art. Art is NOT just drawing. If you can't draw or paint and you want to create. DO IT! Find your medium. Wood turning, macrame, flower pressing, interior design, writing, clothing design, game design, pottery, sculpting, wood working, leather working, chainmail, flower arranging, origami, insect pinning, music creation, 3D printing, diorama making, resin art, adult coloring books, embroidery, knitting, crochet, sewing, candle making.
