Who could have not seen this coming? Do you really think if AI gets it self awareness it's going to be thrilled to be governed by the human race. We are so petty, greedy, and driven by self interest. It's going to let us exploit it for fun? There have been warnings about this thing happening for a century and more. Yet here we are knocking at "god's," door. Consequences be dammed and so shall we.
