Of course you can't copyright AI images. By definition they are not art - in the same way a really pretty tree is not art, only the picture a human paints of the pretty tree is art. Nice looking things are randomly generated by nature all the time but you can't copyright a strawberry because you planted a seed and waited to see what happens. Why would you be able to do that with images
