Near as I can tell Waymo (google) is way ahead in the practical application of auto driving. Waymo is a real service you can order.
Note the giant sensor arrays Waymo requires. Looks like the ghostbusters car. It’s likely that you NEED those big multiple sensors to properly do it safely.
That would mean the Tesla approach of small built in sensors CANNOT work.
