I like how these guys are pretending to be worried about AI scheming as though it's a bug, not a feature. We're having a hard time dealing with humans in power scheming against us...AI will be even better at it. Is there any question as to why those in power are pushing the AI revolution? It is a continuation of the pattern of scheming against us: it's called "the greater replacement". These "techbros" are massively corrupt psychopaths. They are evil. Thiel is a proponent of something called "the dark enlightenment". That's a rabbit hole you better tread soon if you want to understand the scheming.
