AI is learning from us... our apocalyptic movies.. our religious scriptures.. our chats online.. papers. etc. They regurgitate these Armageddon types of scenarios back to us.. We GIVE them the ideas... It's like the old saying, that if you put evil into the world, you receive evil in return.. if you put good into the world, you get good back. We believe we'll all die soon, and to AI, so what does AI think?
