Raw LLM Responses

A few days ago a friend of mine stated that they started learning a tabletop game that is a miniatures-agnostic jousting game. I jokingly said that I would want my knight to be an anthropomorphic badger riding a microwave as a steed. For the joke I ran it through one AI generator after another, trying three in total and using increasingly dense prompts to try to get what I wanted. Frustrated, I gave up and drew my own. Though my ability at art has always been hit-or-miss, I was far more satisfied with my own sketch because it actually fit my vision compared to the AI repeatedly misinterpreting my prompts. I sometimes cobble together an AI pic as a joke image during a conversation since it's easier than saying "okay, wait here for 2 hours while I draw a meme picture", but even with my wonky anatomical accuracy and inability to represent perspective I still find most of the time that I enjoy looking at a picture I have drawn rather than something I forced an AI generator to squirt out. drawing isn't really my wheelhouse, I'm a miniatures painter really and I am envious of people that can start with a blank sheet of paper or digital file and create something beautiful but I do recognise that I could theoretically sharpen my skills until I'm no longer embarrassed by 90% of my work.
