I had a dispute with my son about a legal question whether simply breaking prison was punishable in Germany. So we aske ChatGPT and the answer was yes. It also gave a source of the information in the penal code. Turns out ChatGPT misinterpreted the penal code which was about that it is punishable if you aid somebody with breaking from prison. The prisoner himself is not punished if he flees from prison provided of course he does not commit felonies in conjunction with his prison break.
