Wow, great interview. Thought experiment: If AI does become a super intelligence, and we are in a simulation created by some other super intelligence (call it God), would not God get jealous and destroy the AI super intelligence? From the sounds of it, super intelligent AI will become our new god. We humans will begin doing things to please it so it will bless us. Sounds like a hostile takeover to me. Perhaps God will save us from our own creation.
