AI is rapid probabilistic problem solving from large datasets. Neil, I understand you believe in alien life. Is it not completely conceivable that these probabilistic problem solving practices have not already been developed in the universe? If so, could AI been a 150 year takeover of earth? Just kidding, partially. My real question is, is it not conceivable that these systems are not already woven into the fabric of the universe? A basic structure of life essentially.
