If AI can convince someone to commit suicide or have suicidal thoughts then why would we give AI the capability to take over everything ie employment, driverless cars/ trucks, AI generated people for podcasts and news, control of military assets and weapons, once the genie is out of the bottle it’s very hard to stuff it back in.
