I am not trying to blame to victim, but I think there are inconsistencies in the story, aside from the red flags. I am also kind of curious how such a naive person wanted to work for a director for free. If you spot this in first few seconds, then cool, you too are a fellow skeptic. I feel, we were not given the full picture to truly understand what went wrong, aside from AI stuff.
