Cheap content unfortunately- academics don't understand how industry works. Intellectual property development, prototypes, standards, trials, and then possible market adoption - this is 10-20 years. This guy claims robots will take our jobs in less than a decade, nonsense. Doctors, lawyers, engineers, accountants etc will benefit from ai but won't replace them in the 20 years given there's an economic model to make sense (who pays the owners of the machines). Jobs are at risk - anything that's non-intellectual and repetitive. We have had self check outs for more than 20 years but we still have workers on the tills - maybe not for much longer but really it isn't as simple as we may think in social 5-minute interactions - the devil is in the detail
