AI prompters are not artists. They are commissioners. They think of an idea, put it into words and send those words to another entity to create an image from it. That's literally what people do who commission artists to draw or paint stuff for them. The big difference is that people who commission artists don't claim to have made the artwork, they credit the artists. AI image prompters claim that they made the image, when in reality the AI image generator did that.
