To preface, my disability is not incredibly severe, but i am of opinion that a disability is a disability and it's not a competition, so i'll share a few words anyway.
I have chronic back and waist pain, which makes it pretty difficult to remain in the same position for a long time, especially seated behind a desk, it KILLS me after just a little while. So to these Ai. bros my condition 'prevents me access to art' and somehow Ai. is meant to aid me. And i mean- i could just take 5 minutes to write a prompt and go lay down while it shits something out for me, but am i even making art at this point? i'm just laying down, doing nothing, when i could have been doing something actually meaningful. And i guess that's what it comes down to. My back is gonna ache no matter what, even laying down for too long gets painful, so why not use that time for something that'll actually leave me fulfilled? Ai. doesn't give me access to art, it takes meaning out of it. And that's that
