1, One part of the vedio shows many cameras. But most cameras in this vedio are called "speed camera". I know we ALL hate that, but it's not relevant with human right or something, to be honest.
2, The other part of this vedio is actually an advertisement of that company called Yiyun and to be clear, none of their "ads" is used in real life, including that "police" using facial recognition to catch "criminals". It's just propagandice of a fucking company, showing "how powerful our product is".
3, Jaywalking is common in China so to stop that improper behavior, government put the photo of their faces on the screen beside crossing to “humilite” jaywalkers. It's a very simple technology: take a photo and put it on screen, that's all. But if that works, every city should learn from China.
4, Xinjiang is known for "homeland of ISIS" so I'm fine with some kind of “autocracy” there. What do you think?
