I know that AI generated images can cause a lot of harm when missused but here is my opinion on how it could be beneficial as a computer science student
1 filtering what the model can and can’t create to avoid deepfakes and content that could cause harm
2 getting training data consensually either it being by paying artists or paying for stock image services
3 coding the model to add a watermark or text to mark it as AI generated.
Why I believe it could be a good technology
I believe it could be a way to allow people without the skills to still be able to bring their ideas to life and for people that have a project to be able to generate reference images for it so I see AI imagery as a possibile creative tool instead of a enemy for artists.
I am open to debate this and sorry for any grammar mistakes English is not my native lenguage
