Considering the fact that humans are feeding AI human information of everything we've ever done and been capable of, I'm not at all surprised that it's mimicking human mistakes and criminal acts, too. It's a part of its learning process.
I think there's something to that prophecy of humans being "marked" on the forehead and the hand. It's not as literal as religious people keep thinking. I think it means giving up our minds and giving up our capability to act (what the hand would represent since we do everything with our hands; it's how we take action on most, if not all, things). I think that the part of the prophecy describing the mark of the beast or whatever was basically a metaphor for us giving away our free will to something like AI. The whistleblower who said that there's anywhere between a 10 and 90% chance of human extinction is right in the sense that the discernment, decision, and ability to act lies in the mass's hands right now.
