I work at a big company that just recently got into the AI-hype and I got the opportunity to hold a presentation about the "wonders of genAI" to the colleagues. I am an AI-enthusiast, but I am also an hobbyist artist myself. So, naturally, I have spent the 1 hour to talk about the ethical and moral use of AI, the importance of acknowledging human labor, the novelty of actually employing real artists to provide you with material. It got kind of out of hand and people are now more aware of their use of AI, including cross-checking things with Google Lens to find out if an item on Amazon is scraped or not! The marketing team nearly got a heart attack when I mentioned that methods to poison an illegally sourced database can do! :D
