I never think AI and the possibility of AI generated art to be inherently bad BUT before AI art became a thing, we already lived in world that does not properly support artists and the concept of the spiritual benefit that is creativity and expression through talent and skill. Artists and creatives have been used and abused for a long time and now AI is being used as a way out so entities can just move on without concern or worry for those previous artists issues. Essentially sweeping the problems under the rug while getting distracted with a new shiny toy that will make it so we never have to deal with this problem under the rug again. I like the advancement of tech but not when its used as a crutch to keep us from moving forward as a society. its obviously not the fault of the existence of AI, its the fault of the ones who are in control of it. I don't see AI art and other creations going away completely but its not impossible that we may have to push it away for now in order to preserve humanity. gotta learn to walk before we can run kinda thing
