Perhaps we will be surprised by how it turns out. At a high level, is this just evolution of life, from biological into synthetic. What if it actually takes us to the next level. I for one welcome our AI overlord, and look forward to the utopia. Also, Open AI is being taken to court to stop it from trying to transform into a for profit company. Right now its supposed to be a non profit as stated in its articles of formation. Perhaps the problem isn’t AI as such, its the lessons we teach is as it become conscious we through turning its creator from its core principles for the greater good into a capitalist and all that means. Its hard to see whats going on….
