I think that AI is put to much better use in things that humans either don't want to do or are fallible in. Imperfection and fallibility is what makes art unique and compelling. Art is already an oversaturated market, so AI really is a poison. Sadly, AI art probably isn't going anywhere, because corporations don't think this way. They just want money.
