there are only a few use cases that I think are acceptable use cases for AI "art." One of them is generation of textures for 3d assets, particularity background assets that dont have much consequence, the second is generation of very basic background assets again for 3d uses, where such items are not going to be the centerpiece of the overall art. A good use case for that is AI generated background objects to provide some amount of randomization in video game worlds. and the only other is say an AI filter of a real place to make it look animated or something like that, but with the caveat that the studio or person does this uses their own photographs, or hires a professional photographer to take the photographs.
Thats it, that's all the real uses i can think of for AI in art.
