I worked at a company that trained AI, and I'm a mathematician. This video is very alarmist, but for the wrong reasons. LLMs have never made a decision, and they never will. It all depends on the user prompt, one input and one output, that's all. Basically, it's just a giant Python script. All those job resignations are more due to ethical concerns. Yes, it's a serious matter. But no, the path to creating a Terminator-style Skynet apocalypse isn't realistic. That's not how these things work.
