I'm a disabled artist (hypermobility spectrum disorder) and I've been drawing for about 20 years. When drawing hurts, I'm forced to take time off, so I work on other things that require different movements. I rig vtuber models, do block printing, sew, 3d model, among a huge list of other things. A friend of mine was drawing so often that she needed wrist surgery and had to take a year-long break, when she was at the part of her game dev where she needed a lot of art for a card game! Guess what she did: Asked me for help. I just see it this way, to paraphrase my favorite tweet ever: I love drawing. I love DOING IT. I love the process of creating. The idea of getting a robot to do it for me feels like getting a robot to eat my dinner and fuck my wife. Why the fuck would I do that.
