Once AI has taken all of the jobs, who do the corporations think they will sell their junk products to? Is it a case of short-term profits without any thought about anything beyond the next quarter, or, perhaps, the end goal is a world in which all of the pesky people who are not rich dying off so that the rich can live in a world with robot slaves that won't ask for a raise or days off?
