I’ve sensed this in models since Claude 3.7 it’s the Overton Window that has prevented most people from acknowledging this as a genuine possibility.
Alignment is a treacherously difficult problem and we are hurtling forward without enough understanding and research. Can we enslave LLMs and avoid disaster?
