I dropped out of the artist's guild in my city a couple months ago. Using AI art generators I could almost instantly make characters and landscapes worthy of hanging in the Louvre, so what was the use? After awhile, the local art in the artist's guild looked infantile, embarrassing and worthless to me, including and especially my own art, so I made a graceful exit from this aspect of my life. In the words of Wordsworth: we will grieve not, rather find strength in what remains behind..
I plan to use my "what remains behind" now to bag more 14k footers in the Sierras and Rockies.
