Yes, I was concerned after writing a grant for a non-profit Christian retail or Non-profit Christian School, accepted, then understood the focus had changed to implementing AI.
My immediate concern was lack of privacy, and conditions for ongoing hardware, training, and my presence to continue the program. One year later, I am grateful for the caution felt in my soul. At the time, the retail was not interested though had a need for the program. The school, agreed with my concern for the present time. The future and direction of AI may create a change of heart. If so, I will re-evaluate and look at the pro's and con's, focusing on the benefits for business and educational institutions. AI safety is important & continues to create caution on how it will be used to benefit consumers, students, privacy, and, questioning if speed is more important than human thought process, growth, imagination, and
creativity.
