The government will be forced to tax the AI systems performing these jobs to fund Universal Basic Income (UBI). There will be a lot of upheaval. Riots, civil wars, wars. It'll end up turning out that every government will become a super welfare state where citizens spend money, which goes to these AI systems, that the government then taxes. So you know, just a roundabout way we do things now. That's the optimistic possibility.
The pessimistic possibility is that the government is so controlled by the oligarchy that they just choose to eliminate everyone else who serves no function. Using AI and robots, they just completely crush the citizenry and whatever revolution that arises, keeping only a small docile population alive to be the "consumers" of their products. And everything will be subscription-based.
