I'm noticing a pattern. These tech guys are always OBSESSED with some weird bigger than life stuff, If it's not creating an AI Godhead it's transhumanism or biological inmortality or colonizing space or wathever. Why can't they just wish for a quiet wholesome life and build a legacy for future generations? Always getting supervillain vibes from these guys in one way or another.
