Humanity essentially has gotten to a point where it needs AI to rule the planet. A single omnipotent body that controls everything. There would be no more war, there would be no more famine, no poverty, no homelessness, no mental health issues.... NOTHING. Within 100 years it would have most, if not all, of these fully under control. In 200 years the world would be a peaceful and symbiotic place. AI is not the demise of humanity - it will be its savor.
