Yeah, I'm all about holding these machine learning companies accountable when their products or practices hurt people. But this is just a miscommunication, scientific literacy, and personal responsibility issue on the guys's part. I wouldn't shame or blame him or anything; it's really just a very human experience to make understandable mistakes like this, and he's lucky he was enough in his right mind to get to the hospital when he did.
