It’s really sad how many people rely on immediate gratification instead of the truth about art. Artists heavily encourage “ai artists” to start learning how to draw by skill, not ai. I’m an artist with fabric, makeup and wigs which has started going towards a job with theater. I spent 5 years teaching myself how to sew and 18 years of drawing experience, I turned 21 before my art work was on stage despite all the opportunities years prior. I wasn’t born with blue blood or a rare gift, despite all of the tears, cuts, and burns I get, it doesn’t stop me from doing it still. We are still people who are learning about something that can never be mastered, it’s not “you’re gifted so I’ll never be enough” but rather“are you passionate enough about a time consuming craft”
