1. Everything that is being used to train AI came from the human race, so therefore, we should all own it, not the companies who have co-opted it.
2. I AM going to go to the dark place. Think of a world where the wealthy not only have all the wealth, all the political power, AND all the computing power. Now, they have the ability to literally build a wall of robots around themselves so they will never be touched by anyone. If you've wondered what a technocracy looks like, this is it. A wealthy elite that is not accountable to anyone else; thoroughly and utterly untouchable by the rest of the world. This ought to scare the bejesus out of all of us.
3. Bernie has a plan for beginning to legislate the industry. Sadly, nobody has heard it yet. It's a thoughtful plan.
