You know what they were doing was on its own was a great selling point they could have used: "We don't use AI, we use real humans." That probably would've exploded the business revenue on its own. Obviously the point was simply to con investors. It wasn't to build a good business. This is also kind of a wake-up call that AI really is doing better work than humans. Because otherwise, why would you invest more in AI if AI was doing worse work? They're obviously doing good enough work that people would rather use AI than humans.
