Levy high taxes on AI companies because of the unfathomable amount of money they’ll all be making from total work automation and use those taxes to give everyone big UBI checks every month.
I believe full automation of all work will be a good thing, if done right. most people hate their jobs or working in general, having little time to actually enjoy life or do things that make them happy, think of all the people who would use that free time becoming era defining philosophers, musicians, artists, writers, etc. Without the need to work so many people will be able to unlock their potential and enrich our society’s. Ofc we will have to direct the government towards our interests and make them implement UBI and ensure open democratized AI.
And sure there will be challenges and things to figure out in regards to how an AI economy would work with UBI but I believe we can solve those problems, where there’s a will there’s a way.
