Requiring "corroborative evidence" is a step in the right direction but it obviously won't solve the problem if the corroboration merely consists of showing a copy of the Facial Recognition Technology photo to the crime victim and asking: "Is this the person who committed the crime"?
It's irresponsible, and maybe even unethical, to arrest and throw someone in jail on the basis of nothing more than a picture produced by a technology that's known to be unreliable. Maybe we need to end qualified immunity for whoever signs those arrest warrants.
