Thie bigger question is: Did that company use the money they saved to pay their actual workers a fair wage? I'd bet no.
The AI panic is so silly. ChatGPT is cool but still VASTLY incapable of taking anyone's job.
I am a adeveloper and GPT is just a tool to make my work go faster so I can look impressive and have more "mess around" time in my work week.
