My issue with this is that they are so oppositional defiant about it. "If you think my AI art is ugly or low effort, that's a YOU problem."
Well, actually...
AI art IS ugly (because AI art is a grotesque abomination created from countless pieces of human-made art) and it IS low effort (because you write a prompt, tweak some settings, and wait for the "art" to be generated for you in a matter of seconds).
Generating images on Midjourney, does NOT make you an artist on par with someone who's spent years honing their skills, developing their own art styles, and coming up with their artistic vision. And that is a fact that no argument will be able to disprove.
