My argument against AI art will forever be, that the relationship between the AI and the artist is the same as a commissioner and an artist, rather than an artist and a tool. The "real artist" in that situation is the AI itself, not the one writing the prompt, that's the commissioner. Michelangelo is the one credited for the chapel's paintings, not the pope who commissioned him. I could commission a painter and give them the most detailed description of what I want, but that would still not make me the artist. Everyone can think of an idea and describe said idea, but if you can't execute said idea, then you're not an artist, you're just a commissioner.
